‘A splash of colour’ Family Pottery Painting workshops

Go wild with creativity and unleash the artist within as you paint onto ceramic from our earthenware pottery selection.

This fun and creative workshop will including some Christmas designs. These sessions are designed to be family friendly and include a piece of ceramic for you to paint.

Workshop duration: Each session is 1hr 15 minutes. Three sessions are available on this day:

• 10.00am – 11.15am 
• 11.30am – 12.45pm
• 1.15pm – 2.30pm

Please arrive 15 - 20 minutes prior to your booked session to allow time for entry into Wheal Martyn and to walk to the Learning Space.

Equipment & materials: Earthenware bisque, glazes and equipment provided.  You may wish to bring along an apron.

You will produce: A uniquely painted creation, a perfect gift that will be food safe and dishwasher safe. It will be clear glazed and fired in our kiln. 

Collection/delivery: Your item will usually be ready within two to three weeks although we will endeavour to have it ready before Christmas, even where the timescales are shorter.  You can either collect your item from Wheal Martyn or we can post it to you. If you would like it posted please select this option when you book below.

Combine with a visit: If you are not an annual pass holder but would like to combine your workshop with a visit to the museum you can purchase a reduced price admission ticket at the point of booking below. This ticket also entitles you to 12 months readmission.

Level: All abilities and ages welcome, children under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times.
