Baby hand and foot prints ceramic gifts and keepsakes

Make a treasured gift and memory by printing your child’s foot or hand onto ceramic or into a clay tile. 

Drop in sessions – no need to pre-book.

We offer a bespoke service and we can also create your baby’s prints into all sorts of fun designs such as bees, crabs, fish, flamingos and chickens!! All materials are non-toxic and water soluble and won’t harm your baby.

Time: It takes just 10 minutes to do a print. If your baby is asleep, the process is very simple. Bring some wet-wipes to clean your child’s skin thoroughly at the end. Please note that these sessions are run alongside our pottery workshops so your patience is appreciated at busy times.

Two drop in sessions are available on this day. Please drop in anytime between:

• 10.15am – 12.30pm
• 1.30pm – 2.15pm

You will produce: A unique print that will be clear glazed and fired in our kiln.

Collection/delivery: Your item will usually be ready within three to four weeks although we will endeavour to have it ready before Christmas, even where the timescales are shorter.  You can either collect your item from Wheal Martyn or we can post it to you.  If you would like it posted please mention this option when you pay upon arrival.

Combine with a visit: If you are not an annual pass holder but would like to combine your workshop with a visit to the museum you can purchase a reduced price admission ticket upon arrival.  This ticket also entitles you to 12 months readmission.
