We have a range of nature inspired low cost activities this half term, which enable families to get creative and enjoy nature....

All 10.00am to 5.00pm daily

Scavenger Hunt

Search the woods and outdoor spaces to find objects that match a set of clues.  Collect these objects to use later in your visit to create your own ‘Clay Creature' Creation by sculpting a ball of clay and adding detail and features with items form nature!

£1.00 each towards the clay. Museum admission fee still applies.

Clay faces in the Woods

Get creative with a ball of clay, by moulding your own nature inspired creation to take home, or sculpt a face and find a home for it within the woodland at Wheal Martyn.

Decorate a Bird House

Using our paint pens, decorate a small bird house or bird feeder, and take it home with you to make birds feel welcome in your own garden!

£3.50 per bird house.  Museum admission fee still applies
