The Cornish version of Halloween was Allantide which included the giving of allan apples as tokens of good luck. This October half term, enjoy a range of exciting harvest activities at Wheal Martyn. There will be lots on offer such as making autumn baskets, crowns and wreaths, basket weaving and painting bug houses or piskie doors!

On Monday 24th and 31st October join Sian our Exhibition and Engagement officer for some storytelling to learn about Cornish piskies, before making your very own piskie out of clay!

We will be hosting two workshops each day, a morning (11am-12:30pm) and afternoon session (2pm-3:30pm). Booking essential!

Price: £4.

Museum admission still applies.
