On Friday 14th December, families enjoyed a festive evening at Wheal Martyn with a magical lantern trail around the atmospheric grounds with Badger Forest School.
The children began by decorating some beautiful jam jar lanterns, and proceeded to head out around the trail with their twinkling, guiding lights. Festive spirits were kept high with Badger Forest School’s storytelling and carol singing along the way.
The procession later returned to the café for toasted marshmallows, willow star making and Christmas crafts.
Sue Ford, Museum Manager, said, ‘It was lovely to see everybody enjoying the trail, and all of the beautiful lanterns floating around the site.’
