On Sunday 28th April, 11.00am – 4.00pm, enjoy a day full of family fun activities in the woodlands and historic clay works at Wheal Martyn. The atmospheric grounds will be brought to life with an array of activities, food, fun and festivities, all celebrating ceramics and potteries.
Get creative and play with clay, or try your hand at a spot of pottery painting! There will be owls to get up close to, brought in by the Screech Owl Sanctuary, and you’ll be able to join Badger Forest School on site for a variety of exciting outdoor activities. There will be a bouncy castle and ‘Stories from a suitcase’ theatre performances by Cornwall College to watch. In between enjoying the activities, you can explore 26 acres of nature trails and beautiful woodlands, before digging into some delicious treats in the café, and enjoying some plant sales!
With so much on offer, there will be something for all ages to enjoy. Adult tickets cost £6.00 and child tickets £3, which includes admission to the museum and grounds.
