Please consider making a donation to Wheal Martyn

Your donation will go where it is most needed; for example, preserving our collections or the Victorian clay works, providing educational opportunities or developing community activities such as our Memory Cafe.

Every donation makes a real difference to our work. For example...

  • £5 could preserve the inks on a hand drawn map
  • £25 could help to pay for 200 trails to allow families explore and learn about Wheal Martyn
  • £50 could pay for environmental monitoring equipment, ensuring our artefacts are cared for properly
  • £1,000 could pay for photography equipment and training, to enable our volunteers to photograph and record all our wonderful objects so that we can share them more widely
  • £5,000 could fund half the restoration of our Comet lorry so that we can bring it back to the heart of the museum for visitors to enjoy
