Our latest work experience student has written a guest blog sharing all about her time with us! Read on to discover Ashleigh's stunning photography and amazing work. 

Now based in Cornwall, working on her degree in Marine and Natural History Photography at Falmouth, Ashleigh decided to explore Wheal Martyn for work experience. 

“Wheal Martyn is such a beautiful place and I’ve had an amazing time throughout the whole experience. The work being carried out at Wheal Martyn is so important, whether that be through environmental conservation, historical preservation or by engagement, each provides such a vital element to the future of the landscape.

"The staff were all incredibly helpful and happy, and throughout my visits I discovered such a sense of community with everyone I met, both staff and public alike, and I think that's such an important and rare thing to come by. Wheal Martyn is such an inspiring place and I am incredibly grateful to all the staff who helped me throughout this process as well as the public for allowing me to capture and share their moments."
