Fundraising events Fundraising events are an important way of securing the funds we need to develop the work of our charity. We currently run one annual fundraising event. Sponsored walk Our annual sponsored walk provides an opportunity to take in some of the fantastic scenery around Cornwall’s clay country while helping to raise funds for the museum. The money raised will help to support Wheal Martyn Trust’s educational and community engagement work. The walk is typically around four miles long.
