The Clay Industry in Past Times

Taken from 16mm cine films from the English China Clays collection, kindly made available by Imerys Minerals Ltd. Each DVD runs for approximately 48 minutes.                 

Volume 1 - Includes three films:

  • Cornish Pyramids, 1936, an award-winning black and white film
  • E.C.L.P.’s first advertising film, 1954
  • World of Colour, 1973, advertising film by ECC Paper Division

Volume 2 - Includes two films:

  • E.C.L.P. Clay and China Stone, an amateur film by Archie Perry
  • Self Portrait, an excellent general view of ECC
